Welcome to SPILab, a workspace managed by the Quercus Software Engineering Group of the University of Extremadura. We are devoted to research on Pervasive, Social and Mobile Computing in the scope of the IoT. We are interested in everything related with those topics and in particular, in enhancing the role of humans in technology to avoid it becoming an interference in daily life rather than a way to improve it. We love thinking big and far. And we love working hard to make dreams come true by producing useful results for a better world. For that, we really enjoy collaborating with other people. So, if you have a dream or you would like to dream with us, do not hesitate to use this form.
"The most profound technologies are those that disappear.
They weave themselves into the fabric of everyday life until
they are indistinguishable from it."
Mark Weiser
